At WISH, we believe in providing innovative care and accessible animal welfare education to the community. Through education, we can create awareness and start paving the way to end the need for kill shelters. Our volunteers are our link to the community and the foundation of our success! We cannot succeed without you!

• Animal/Medical/Vet Transport

• Social Media/IT

• Adoption Counseling

• Marketing

• Event Planning & Coordination

• Adoption Fair Transport

• Publication & Design

• Sponsorship

Volunteer Requirements:

• Be 18 years of age (Under 18 will require parent or legal guardian signature and supervision at all times if under 16)

• You must be 16 years of age to handle an animal at adoption events

• Advocate for the adoption of every animal and responsible pet ownership

• Understand and accept WISH Volunteer Code of Conduct

• Attend a volunteer orientation prior to start

• Attend fundraising/adoption events (based on your own availability)

• Communicate professionally with fellow volunteers, potential adopters, fosters, medical staff or community
