At WISH, we are 100% volunteer-run with ZERO paid employees! From our Leadership Team members donating 20+ hours a week to our Petco volunteers who give 30 minutes per week, every single volunteer is vital member of our team and allows us the ability to care for our animals and work towards our mission. • Adoption Counseling

• Event Planning & Coordination

• Fundraising and Event Support

• Animal Transport

Volunteer Requirements:

• All are welcome! We love our future rescuers - families with kids welcome and appreciated! (Under 18 will require parent or legal guardian signature and supervision at all times if under 16)

• You must be 16 years of age to handle an animal at adoption events

• Understand and accept WISH Volunteer Code of Conduct. Sign a volunteer liability waiver

• Attend fundraising/adoption events (based on your own availability)

• Communicate professionally with fellow volunteers, potential adopters, fosters, medical staff or community
